Cakes, crumbs and coffee all in aid of Macmillan.
Purdy’s Tea Room hosted a Macmillan Coffee Day on Friday 30th September, which included a charity raffle to win a hamper full of tea room and nursery goodies (worth over £50). All hot drink proceeds sold throughout the day went to the charity, with the tea room also offering Macmillan themed cakes, including a selection of fairy cupcakes.
Lisa Smith, tea room manager, commented ‘We have been absolutely packed; it has been really well supported. With proceeds from both the hot drinks and the raffle we have raised over £700 for Macmillan, a fantastic amount. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped us raise so much for a great cause’
